Sara Carmona

Sara grew up in Colorado, where she started playing the piano at age 4. When she reached middle school, she also picked up the cello. She played in several Colorado All State orchestras and other competitions before moving to Utah to attend Brigham Young University. She participated in different orchestra groups, including a pit orchestra where she played for the university's production of Mary Poppins and The Count of Monte Cristo. She graduated in 2019 with a degree in elementary education and a minor in music. She taught fifth grade for three years before moving to Ohio with her husband in 2022. They now have one son who was born last December. She enjoys playing in the orchestra, quilting, and reading.
