Paula Forman
Paula's journey as a musician began at an early age when she picked up the violin at the age of 8. Her musical talents led her to pursue a degree in Music Education at Baldwin Wallace College, where she honed her skills under the guidance of accomplished mentors. This educational foundation not only enriched her musical knowledge but also instilled in her a passion for teaching, which she would later share with countless students.
In the year 2000, Paula Smith joined the Parma Symphony. Her commitment and talent quickly made her an invaluable member of the ensemble. This year, she also joined the Board of Directors.
In addition to her orchestral pursuits, Paula Smith found herself drawn to the world of musical theater. Throughout high school, college and early in her career, she played several shows including Nunsense, Nunsense Jamboree, Sweeny Todd, Pirates of Penzance and several others.
Paula's love for music is not limited to the stage; she has dedicated many years to teaching privately, nurturing the talents of aspiring musicians and passing on her knowledge and love for the violin to the next generation as well as playing in many weddings both as a solo violinist and in a quartet.
Beyond her music career, Paula has embarked on a parallel path in the corporate world. She currently serves as an Engineering Manager at Hyland Software, a testament to her exceptional ability to balance her passion for music with her professional pursuits.
